I cannot configure my router. I inserted a cable from my network card into the wan port.Why can't I access it?

Networking Helpero/Helpero Wireless connections


Follow these steps:

1. Connect the router to a power supply.

2. Connecting the internet cable: Connect a network cable (straight cable) into the WAN port of the router and the other end of the cable to the Ethernet port of the cable modem or DSL.

3. Connecting the computer to the router: Connect another network cable( straight cable) into one of the router's LAN ports and the other end into the computer's network card.
