I have a linksys wireless router. I had set it up for security and forgot to writ down the network key. I then disabled this and know I can't get any websites. It says that I am connected and have excellent strength. It also does not work on any of our laptops.

Answer:

1. Go to your computer and open up the Linksys Router control screen

2. In the browser type in exactly: http://192.168.1.1. This is your router's LAN address and will give you access to the control screen.

3. Click the Security Tab.

4. The WEP is revealed in this screen.

5. Type it in when prompted by wireless network. This will ensure you have access to the local network and Internet.

6. Close the Linksys screen.
