Why can't I receive internet through my ethernet cable but can receive it through my wireless receiver?

Possible causes:

1. Your computer is not properly configured( IP, gateway, etc)

2. You Ethernet cable is damaged.

3. You don't have installed network card drivers. Reinstall them again.

4. If you are using a router it is possible that the router is not properly configured for the Ethernet cable.
