How can I connect 2 computers to one intenet service provider?

Question Details:

I need to connect a second computer to the internet. I have dsl. How do I do this?

Answer:

You need a router.

1. Connect the router to a power supply.

2. Connect a network cable (straight cable) into the WAN port of the router and the other end of the cable to the Ethernet port of the cable modem or DSL.

3. Connect the two computers to the router. Connect the network cables( straight cables) into the router's LAN ports and the other ends into the computer's network cards.
