1. Start SamsungPST (SamsungPST DLL version 1.0.045) and select SCH-A950.
2. Press 'SW' button on the tool bar on the left side of window.
3. Select 'normal with Backup/Rebuild/Restore + Load Preloaded Apps +DRM Writing(For MOD S/W)' Software Download Option.
NOTE: DRM-protected content such as downloaded VCAST Video clips will not be backed up and will be lost.
4. Press 'Open File' button, then select the 'A950_YK24_MOD.bin' file to open the SW binary.
5. Click 'Start Software Download' button to start download process.

6. A message popup ‘Download for MOD S/W. You have to use mod s/w ! If you want to proceed, click yes button.â€@trade;. Then click yes button.
7. If user has more than 12MB of non-DRM-protected content (like user-generated PIX or FLIX) saved to phone memory, a message will pop up 'Large data! So some data must be deleted from phone memory or moved to TransFlash memory card before doing Backup/Restore'. Then do the following:

a. Press 'OK' in popup box to end Software Download.
b. On a950 handset, go to Get It Now -> Info (Right Soft Key) -> Content Memory
c. If My PIX is large, go to Get PIX&FLIX -> My PIX -> Default Album
i. Highlight PIX to move/erase
ii. Press Options (Right Soft Key)
iii. Select Move (to move PIX from internal memory to external memory card), or select Erase to delete the selected PIX.
d. If My FLIX is large, go to Get PIX&FLIX -> My FLIX -> Default Album
i. Highlight FLIX to move/erase
ii. Press Options (Right Soft Key)
iii. Select Move (to move FLIX from internal memory to external memory card), or select Erase to delete the selected FLIX.
e. When finished moving/erasing user content, start Software Download again.
8. About 30 seconds later, the phone SW download process will start.
(Before downloading, RF Calibration and some information are backed up.)
9. After downloading, the phone SW is rebuilt.
10. After rebuilding, RF calibration and some information are restored.
11. After that preloaded applications and MOD DRM Keys will be downloaded to handset.
12. 'Completed Flash programming&Loading Preload Apps' pop-up message will be seen after successful download of software and preloaded apps.
