How to test the version of my Adobe Flash Player?

The Flash movie displays the specific version of the Adobe Flash Player currently installed and active in your browser.
For Flash Player 6 or later, it also tests to see if the debug or shipping version of Flash Player is installed.

Note: This movie displays the version number only for Flash Players 4,0,12,0 and later. If no version number is displayed, install a newer version from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.

If the reported version doesn't match the installed version

In some cases, the version number reported in the movie above may not match the version of the installed Flash Player. If you think that a later version of Flash Player is installed on your system than indicated in the movie above, then follow these steps:

1. Close and reopen the browser.
An earlier version of the player may be in use by the browser, preventing the upgrade.
2. Restart the machine.
An earlier version of the player may be in use by the system, preventing the upgrade.
3. Remove and reinstall the player.
An error may have occurred during a previous installation of Flash Player. To resolve this error, completely remove the player, restart your machine, and then reinstall Flash Player.

You can test the version of your Flash player here.
