We recently got wireless internet, we can loose service anytime, message is that Cannot renew IP address. So far we have been told by internet servicer, that our neighbors may have devices that interfer with us. We have determined that one neighbor has WIFI, one has Alltel card. How can we fix this?

Answer:

You could try to select other radio channels for your wireless router/access point. You can find this probably in your wireless device manual.

You can ask your neighbors to turn off all their wireless devices for a couple of minutes to see if you can connect.

If you still can't do that, it means that the problem is not caused by interference.
