My C drive has a red X icon. How can I fix that?

1. Go to Start -> Run -> type notepad and click OK. Copy and paste the following text into Notepad.[autorun] should be the very top line.

[autorun]

ICON=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHELL32.DLL,8

2. Click 'Save As' and choose Local Disk C.

3. Type "C:\autorun.inf" (you must use the quotes) in the file name window. Click save.

4. Restart your computer.
