I have 4 computers. 3 have shortcuts that are fine. on the 4th the shortcuts now look like they are paper cutouts. they have a white background that looks like they were cutout from a piece of paper. It wasn't like that before, I don't know how it happened, but I need to fix this.

If you are using Windows XP:
- Open System Properties in Control Panel, go tothe Advanced tab, and click Settings in the Performance section. Turn on Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop option, and then click Ok.

MicroAngelo (at least v5.5), which allows you to change the text color, configure custom icons, and change other aspects of your operating system.

Also try to reinstall your video card driver and choose a color depth of min. 16 bit.
