I have about 6500 pics on my computer is that what is making it so slow? I have a my book so I have the pics twice should i delete them from th computer or does that make any difference?

Answer:

A lot of pictures can slow you computer but depends a lot of your computer, if you have them in one folder and you are trying to open, if you do not have free space on your computer, etc.

Our best advice is to copy them on DVDs or CDs, or store them in a harddisk partition different from the one where your operating system is installed.
