I downloaded a file (.doc) which is 3.01MB after downloading the computer refuses to open the file and it is always giving me the meesage that there is not enough memeory to open the file. I am on dial up network connection. Please is the problem with the connection or otherwise or do I have to install earlier version/s of Microsoft Word, since I do not believe the problem lies with the memory capacity. It has Microsoft works 8.5 installed.
Answer:
Some user reported that the problem lies in the fact that you don't have installed Microsoft Word on your computer or it is not your default program for opening .doc files.
We suggest to install Microsoft Word or to associate .doc files with it if is installed already.
This problem could occur also if the file you are trying to open is corrupt.
