Can I retrieve a document I created on my PC, but only saved to a flash drive, without the flash drive?

Question Details:

Created a document about 3 weeks ago and it was only saved on a flash drive. Have been unable to locate the flash drive but need the document. Can I get it back?

Answer:

You cannot recover the document because probably was saved just on your flash drive. You could try to search it by it's name in your computer using the Search feature from Windows Explorer. Maybe was saved on your harddrive, too.
