How do I use the line input on a soundcard for recording?

The line input (usually with a 1/8" stereo minijack) is used to put musical recording equipment into.

In general it is compatible with CD players, cassette decks, stereo receivers, etc but it is not considered directly compatible with microphones headphone jacks, etc.

With Digiters Sound Recorder you can directly digitize recordings of music cassette tapes vinyl LPs, videos, etc directly to your computer's hard disk. It can record from any sound card input line.
