NEC ShieldPRO Tablet PC is a waterproof laptop. It can resist water up to 90cm (nearly 3-foot), -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F) temperature, dust, sand,etc.

The Magnesium Alloy chassis measures in 48-mm (1.89-inch) thick and up to 3.5-kg (7.7-pounds) and protects a 1.2GHz Core Solo U1400, up to 2GB of memory and 60GB of disk.

It has a 1024x768 12.1-inch display and 8-hour battery. It costs around $2,600 and was launched in Japan one year ago.
