I have a couple of chess engines that I like to play on all the time. A while ago, for some unknown reason, I lost all ability to use my keyboard in these applications. On the other hand, I was still able to type in pidgin (aim). Why can I not type in my chess engines (World Chess Live, Babas), and how do I regain my ability?

It is possible that there is something related to your keyboard driver or the game. We suggest to try to reinstall the keyboard driver and if this does not work try to reinstall the games.
