Question Details:
My drive was working fine, I connected my cable to connect my mobile and the computer for accessing internet, I got alert message in task bar stating that "usb is taking more power which cause problem and you will no longer use the usb, pls click no to cancel and yes to reset" almost similar to this I clicked "reset" it showed four times I clicked reset for all.
After that I could not able to use the usb if I put in to the usb hub it does not show any "drives" when I open "my computer" nor any message, I checked in all the usb hubs available (4 were there in my cpu ) but this is not showing . I formatted my c: drive and reinstalled windows XP but my usb is not working. I checked in computer management-device manager-usb controller but this looks fine. I don't know if this is software, hardware driver or other thing.
Answer:
We haven't encountered this problem ever, and after searching on the Internet is showed nothing related. It is possible that something in your BIOS was changed or the USB ports were damaged. Try to reset your BIOS to the defauls settings.
