Question Details:

I am using Microsoft's program for burning photo CDs and I keep getting a message that the CD is either not found or it is already full. I have tried several CDs and even went out and bought expensive ones to see if the ones I had were too cheap but that wasn't it either. I have also just bought a Drive cleaner and that didn't work. The drive does sound a little different than usual. Is this something I could maybe fix myself or could it be really broken. I have Windows XP (German version).

We do not know exactly what can cause the problem but we can start by using other burning software. Please try to burn the photos using Nero Burning Rom. You can download it from here.

If it does not work contact us again because it is a more complicated problem.
