VZAccess Manager software must be installed before inserting the PC Card into the computer for the first time. Only after the software has been installed can Windows successfully install and configure the PC Card.
1. Close any open applications.
2. Insert the VZAccess Manager CD-ROM into the drive. Once the CD-ROM auto-starts, click Install VZAccess Manager.
Note If set up does not automatically start, click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run. Type D:\Start (where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive) and click OK.
3. Click Next on the Welcome window.
4. Read the License Agreement and accept by clicking I agree... then click Next.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.
Configuring VZAccess Manager
If this is the continuation of a software installation, these steps will begin automatically. If VZAccess Manager is already installed, from the main VZAccess Manager screen, click Options > Run Wizard... to start the setup.
1. Click Next.
2. Select the appropriate option and click Next.
Note: If you are only configuring a WWAN device, skip to step 5.
3. Insert the Wi-Fi adapter and click Next.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Next.
6. Select appropriate option depending upon device and click Next.
Note: USB or Serial port should be selected when using your handset as a modem.
7. Select appropriate wireless device from the drop-down list and click Next.
8. Click Next.
9. Enter the device's 10-digit mobile number, then click Next.
10. Click Test Device.
11. Click OK.
12. Click Finish.
